Actisan-5L consists almost entirely of active substance. This active substance is very stable and therefore provides very predictable and reliable disinfection results. The disinfectant undergoes a chemical reaction (oxidation, essentially a combustion reaction) with microorganisms. Resistance formation is therefore not possible. Due to the tablet form for 5 liters of water, Actisan-5L is very easy and accurate to dose. Due to the almost neutral pH value, Actisan-5L lacks the aggressiveness of, for example, sodium hypochlorite (chlorine bleach). Moreover, Actisan-5L provides good disinfection results at both low and high pH values. Actisan-5L dissolves easily in water (maximum concentration 20% at 15°C).
