Payment Methods


At MHS Equestrian, you can safely pay online using the following methods:

iDeal
With iDeal you can safely and easily pay your order at MHS Equestrian.
You pay in your own trusted online payment environment. This is secured by your own bank.

Klarna
You can also choose the payment option 'Pay after Delivery'. With this payment option, the financial settlement of the invoice is taken over and handled by Klarna. Note that if you wish to exchange or return products, this can be done within 30 days, but the payment term with Klarna is always 14 days. Also, if you want to cancel your order after paying your Klarna invoice, you will of course receive your purchase amount back.

Attention! There is a limit for this payment method. When you exceed this limit, this payment option is not available. The limit for this payment method is €200 per order. This option is also not available when an order is picked up instead of shipped. 

PayPal
You can pay at MHS Equestrian with PayPal.

Maestro
You can pay at MHS Equestrian with Maestro.

Visa
You can pay at MHS Equestrian with your Visa card.

MasterCard
You can pay at MHS Equestrian with your MasterCard.

American Express
You can pay at MHS Equestrian with American Express.

Bank Transfer / Prepayment
You can also choose to pay by bank transfer. We do not charge any extra fees for payment by bank transfer. Once you choose bank transfer, you will automatically receive an email with the bank transfer details. Our bank transfers are handled by MultiSafePay. 

Attention! If you use bank transfer, MHS Equestrian will only ship your order after we have received your payment. This can take up to 3 business days before we have received the amount. Always use the payment reference you receive in your email with your bank transfer.

Multisafepay


MHS Equestrian uses the payment services of Multisafepay. Multisafepay is our payment provider and all payments such as iDeal, Visa/MasterCard, and bank transfer go through Multisafepay. You will therefore see this name on your bank statement.

How does 'Pay after Receipt' work?

Pay after receipt is a Multisafepay online product that performs a 'real-time' data check. For this, you need to fill in some personal details. You choose this payment method and automatically agree to the acceptance and payment terms of Multisafepay. 

When your payment is approved, you will be notified immediately. Your order will be processed immediately and after a few days you will receive an email with a payment request from Multisafepay to pay for the purchased products. You pay the amount directly to Multisafepay and not to MHS Ruitersport. 

If your request for pay later is not authorized, you can of course pay for the product to be ordered via another payment method at checkout. For questions, you can always contact Multisafepay. For more information, we refer you to the Multisafepay website.

Only Dutch customers can use the payment method 'Pay after Receipt'.

When will I receive the invoice?

When your order has been processed by us, you will automatically receive an invoice by email. You can also find your invoice in the order status of your order. You log in to our website with your email address and order number. You will receive a packing slip and an invoice with the ordered products upon delivery of your order.

Refunds for canceled orders

If you withdraw from the agreement, you will receive all payments you have made up to that point, including delivery costs (except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us) immediately and in any case no later than 14 days after we have been informed of your decision to withdraw from the agreement. If you return only part of your order, the delivery costs will not be refunded. We will refund you using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any case, no costs will be charged to you for such a refund. We may wait to refund until we have received the goods back or you have demonstrated that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.


Payment fees


MHS Ruitersport does not charge its customers any payment fees.

 


3-D Secure and SecureCode


What are 3-D Secure and Secure Code?

3-D Secure and Secure Code make online payments even safer. The 3D-Secure technology was developed by Visa and is offered under the brand name Verified by Visa. Under the label MasterCard Secure Code, MasterCard also offers this standard. 3-D Secure and Secure Code form an extra step when placing your order intended for your safety. You are protected against misuse of your credit card number because you first confirm your identity before payment. 

Steps for checkout via Verified by Visa (3-D Secure):

1. You choose a product
2. Select the payment method: Visa credit card
3. Enter your Visa card details
4. A new window appears
5. You enter your password here and click submit
6. Your identity is confirmed
7. The payment is completed

You receive a Secure Code from MasterCard, a personal password or code. This password or code is used as an extra check to identify the correct credit card holder online.

Checkout via MasterCard Secure Code:

1. You choose a product
2. Select the payment method: MasterCard credit card
3. Enter the MasterCard details
4. A window appears asking for a password or code
5. You enter your password or code and click submit
6. Your identity is confirmed
7. The payment is completed

 


Ordering without VAT (business)


All prices on our website include VAT. The VAT rate is shown on the payment page and/or on your final invoice after selecting your shipping destination.

We can process your order without VAT when:

  • You create an account with MHS Ruitersport;
  • You have a valid foreign VAT number;

This VAT number is automatically checked and must match the name and address match the invoice address.

Please ensure that you:

  • Enter the full VAT number starting with the 2 letters of your country. For example, NL.....;
  • The entered number is a valid VAT number;
  • The entered address details correspond to this VAT number.

We are required to apply a VAT check.

It is not possible to retroactively settle and/or correct any VAT
