Description:
The Waterford D-bit features stainless steel bit rings in the shape of a D, which cannot move freely. The mouthpiece consists of multiple links that can move in every direction. These flexible links make it harder for the horse to grab and lean on the bit. Thanks to the flexibility of the mouthpiece, the bit is suitable for many horse mouths, even if the horse has a thicker tongue.

Product features:
This bit is made of stainless steel rings and a Cuprion mouthpiece. Cuprion is an alloy of 91% copper, 5% zinc, and 4% silicon. The temperature of the copper adapts to the horse’s body temperature, making it easier for the horse to accept the bit. The oxidation process of the material provides a pleasant smell and taste.

The BR Waterford is ideal for use during training to improve the horse’s posture and responsiveness. It is designed to give the rider more control without the horse leaning or “hanging” on the hand. This bit ensures clear communication of aids and has a fairly sharp effect. Therefore, this bit is especially suitable for experienced riders.

A D-bit has D-rings that cannot rotate freely, which makes the aids more direct. This type of bit is generally well accepted because the mouthpiece lies relatively firmly in the mouth. Due to the D-shape, the rider cannot pull the bit through the mouth, and the horse remains well controllable.
