Psyllium fibers expand and ensure that the sand is expelled with the manure.

Psyllium is perfect for optimal removal of sand and to support intestinal function.

With a simple test, you can find out if your horse has eaten sand. Collect some manure in a transparent plastic glove and mix it with water. Since sand is heavier than the rest of the manure particles, it will settle to the bottom after a while. If you find more than 1 teaspoon of sand in the glove, attention is required.

Feeding advice
Horse ≥ 450 kg: 200 grams per day for 6 days.
Horse < 450 kg and pony/foal: 100 grams per day for 6 days.
1 bucket of 1200 g is sufficient for an adult horse.
 
Repeat monthly if desired.
Always provide over dry feed.
 
Tip 
If the horse continues to eat sand, give the horse Licosan-Forte (LICO0005) to break the need for sand.
